BEYOND THE STREETS LONDON was one of my favorite events I attended this February. I can not recommend this location enough. First things first, I have been invited to the private preview of the new exhibition called Beyond the Streets of London. It is a project supported by Adidas Originals and it is something incredible. If you are a fan of art galleries and you are based in London (or visiting London), I truly recommend you a visit.
This exhibit opened in February and showcases more than 100 international artists – ranging from tenacious train writers to large-scale muralists. BEYOND THE STREETS LONDON, sponsored by Adidas Originals, occupies all three floors of London’s famed Saatchi Gallery and will be the most extensive graffiti and street art exhibition to debut in the UK.
More about BEYOND THE STREETS LONDON
The exhibition feels pretty American for a good reason: it came to London after major shows in Los Angeles and New York. Mostly, it showcases new pieces, expansive installations, unique ephemera, and remarkable apparel that highlight the potent influence of graffiti & street art throughout the world.

Moreover, the BEYOND THE STREETS LONDON exhibition was curated by graffiti historian Roger Gastman. Mostly, it explores the universal human need for public expression. So, it showcases street artists and graffiti artists whose work has developed into highly disciplined studio practices, as well as significant cultural figures who this art scene has influenced. The entire vibe of the exhibition feels really cool.
Every phase of the exhibition features periods in the development of this artistic movement, such as the debut of punk and the beginning of hip-hop. More importantly, the exhibition celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2023. For sure, the entire movement had a significant effect on street culture, fashion, and movies.
