London Fashion Week is a clothing trade show that takes place in London twice a year, in February and September. Showcasing over 250 designers to a global audience of influential media and retailers, it is one of the “Big Four” fashion weeks, along with the New York, Milan and Paris. It was my first Fashion Week and I was really excited! I just hope I will have the chance to go to the London Fashion week the next season as well!

COLLIN HORGAN
My favourite collection was the Collin Horgan Collection. I loved all the materials used, the light blue pieces and the strong colours at the same time. All the red looks were really outstanding! Also, I loved the dramatic belts and the utility inspired style.
DANIEL PASCAL IANNER
This collection was really different. The designer used rich materials, corsets and interesting two-piece combos. Also, Pascal Tanner’s collection sees Neo-Romantic silhouettes conflated with surreal exaggerations in proportion and experimental print combinations for a contemporary twist. In my opinion, the boy-ish looks were so cool!
JimmyPaul
JimmyPaul is a costume designer born and bred in Amsterdam who creates beautifully, lavish works of art which are worn by creatives around the world. The best furry outfits from the catwalk were made by designer the Jimmy Paul, which is able to bring the imagination to life with his collection.
LONGSHAW WARD
This collection was the most wearable, in my opinion. Here I’ve seen the neon trend in a very nice and easy to wear
IA LONDON
IA LONDON is a British Avantgarde fashion brand that offers a variety of women’s and men’s garments and accessories, designed and made to the highest quality here in the UK. This series of hand-painted digital artworks, working directly on the pattern was so different and distinctive! The overall vibe was gothic. Their choice of the models was very different than anything I’ve seen before. Their hair was piled high and the grotesquely long nails that were used with great effect.
RESHAKE
It’s a really cool Chinese streetwear brand based in Shanghai, with various materials like coated fabrics, PVC and heavyweight knitted fabrics, as well as large pieces of traditional Chinese embroidery, catering to the high-quality fashion and lifestyle attitude of young people passionate about street culture.
In conclusion, the London Fashion Week 2019 was a great opportunity for me! I am so grateful to part of the show this season and I am really looking forward to attend more shows in the next season.
